Angie McMahon

Angie McMahon is a force to be reckoned with as a veteran of the Chicago Improv, Sketch and Stand Up scene. For over a decade she has been teaching sketch writing and stand up at the famed Second City in Chicago.

As the founder and former Executive Director and Board President of CIC Theater (Chemically Imbalanced Comedy), McMahon steered the ship for an impressive 13 years. Her brainchild, Snubfest Comedy Festival, bolstered a stellar list of alumni including comedy heavyweights like TJ Miller, Cameron Espisito, and Josh Johnson, among others. With notable sponsorship from RoofTop Comedy, Mikey O Productions, Zanies, Laugh Factory, Lincoln Lodge, and The Comedy Bar. Snubfest became a staple in Chicago's comedy calendar for 11 years.

She has performed with Nora Dunn, Julia Sweeney, Jay Mohr, Andy Kindler, Stephen Tobolowski, Tim Kazurinsky, Dean Edwards, and more.
